What can I say about people who race down a mountain at over 70 MPH on only a shovel that hasn’t already been said? It’s insane, and I mean that in the best possible way.

I didn’t hesitate for even a second when the opportunity came up to jump in my car at 4 am on a Saturday and drive to Angel Fire with the king of weird sport photography Sol Neelman.  Sol’s energy is infectious, and his book Weird Sports is due to hit the shelves here in the USA in June. I already have my copy and it is wonderful, one of the few photo books I own that I can show to anyone and they all love it. You should buy it too.

I’ll have more from the breaking bad tour of Burque with Sol & Jakob in a future post.
